Investors in People Gold Standard
Shoosmiths became the first top 100 law firm to achieve the Investor in People Gold Standard in September 2011. An elite band of just 6.6% of all UK companies have been awarded the Gold Standard.
To achieve this recognition, Investors in People undertook a rigorous nine-day assessment against 39 standard criteria plus an additional 157 criteria to achieve the Gold. Shoosmiths met 183 of 196 total criteria, surpassing the minimum 167 requirement for Gold status by 16.
This recognition is further supported by Shoosmiths placement in Legal Week's Employee Satisfaction Survey, where we were voted fifth in the top 100 law firms, the firm has featured in the top five firms for the six years running.
Highly Commended in the Law Society Excellence Awards 2010 for Client Service
Recognised for appointing non-legal account managers to work alongside our lawyers to champion client service on behalf of the client including sharing know-how, managing costs and listening to client feedback.
