Corporate responsibility
For us, discharging our Corporate Responsibility, means we self-regulate how we work by striving to ensure we behave responsibly in all our business relationships:
Community - we make a positive and lasting difference in the communities where we live and work. Our community and pro bono work are "living breathing" evidence of our brand values and engage our staff as well as helping them to develop their skills. As part of our Community Investment activities, we select a firmwide Charity of the Year, which is currently Shelter.
Our national personal injury team is also given the opportunity to select and support an additional charity of their choice. This enables us to fundraise for organisations that support our clients. This year, we are supporting Aspire, the national spinal cord injury charity.
Workplace - we ask for, listen to and act on the views of our staff, we creatively promote work / life balance, and actively promote equality of opportunity.
Environment - we set minimum standards of responsible behaviour to minimise our impact on the environment. We are working towards becoming carbon neutral by reducing at source, as far as we can, and then off-setting.
Marketplace - we engage positively and proactively with our clients and supply chain to ensure we are first choice, both as a provider and consumer.
