The launch of our annual conference, Data Insights x Shoosmiths, took place on Wednesday, 24 January 2024 at our offices in London and virtually via live-stream.
The conference brought together leaders in data protection and privacy from a distinguished guest list of UK and international organisations. Panels on DPO perspectives, privacy governance and adtech were delivered by experts from Oracle, Ford Motors, Deliveroo and Booking.com to name a few.
We were delighted to chair a conversation between the titans of data transfer: Founder and Honorary Chairman at noyb, Max Schrems and French MP and CNIL Commissioner Philippe Latombe, and to hear from our keynote speaker, barrister, author and AI visionary Jamie Susskind. Head of Innovation, International & Data Rights at the UK Department of Science, Innovation and Technology David Hoy provided unmissable analysis of forthcoming UK data protection reform.
