Shoosmiths is perfect fit for women's clothing client
17 August 2009
Shoosmiths is to provide employment law advice to women's fashion retailer Jacques Vert.
The national law firm will continue to offer advice and support to the leading British fashion house.Jacques Vert’s continued use of Shoosmiths is largely down to the excellent working relationship established by Shoosmiths partner and employment specialist Eugene Wojciechowski.
Based in Reading, Wojciechowski is a former City lawyer who advises on a complete range of employment matters.
He said: “I’ve worked closely with this particular client for a long time, now, and believe a great deal of trust and mutual respect has been built up, which helps the relationship thrive.
“Knowing a client’s business, its culture, and its ambitions is crucial to a successful partnership, and that knowledge has undoubtedly helped us retain this work.”
Founded in 1977, Jacques Vert Plc has more than 950 outlets in the UK, Eire and Canada.
Comprising four brands – Jacques Vert, Planet, Precis Petite and Windsmoor – the company has its head office in London, while support operations, including warehousing, are based in County Durham.
