Shoosmiths serves up seasonal treat for Shelter
14 December 2009
Shoosmiths has been helping homelessnes charity Shelter serve up something tasty this Christmas.
The national law firm has published Firm Favourites, a collection of recipes contributed by staff, their families, and friends.
As Shoosmiths’ Charity of the Year for 2008-2010, employees have been fundraising to raise money for Shelter’s hardship fund, which makes small one off payments to families in desperate housing need.
Chief executive Claire Rowe said: “Every Christmas we undertake a charitable project, and this year I’m delighted our staff have got so involved in the production of this book.
“We’re confident it will be as successful as we’ve been throughout the year in supporting Shelter.’
Firm Favourites can be bought via Shelter’s website and at its charity shops. All proceeds will go directly to Shelter.
