Shoosmiths promotes ten new partners

National law firm Shoosmiths has promoted a record 36 lawyers from 1 May. Among them are ten new partners, taking the number of partners and partner-equivalents at the firm to 113.

The new partners are:

• Graeme Simpson (pensions, Milton Keynes)
• Andrew Farmery (commercial property, Thames Valley)
• Emna Sfar-Gandoura (commercial property, Nottingham)
• Stuart Angus (residential conveyancing, Northampton)
• Lynn Knight (corporate, Solent)
• Michelle Sherwood (commercial, Nottingham)
• Peter Andrews (competition & procurement, Nottingham)
• Karen Shakespeare (private client, Milton Keynes)

The new partner equivalents:

• Kay Taylor (clinical negligence, Basingstoke)
• Lisa Emery (personal injury, Basingstoke)

Other promotions include 22 made up to associates and four made up to associate equivalent.
