We have an active group involved in both non-contentious and contentious patents work. We have been instructed by, amongst other clients, Waters Corporation, the Haldex Group and The Mead Corporation in relation to some long running cases which have been fought both here in the UK and in Europe. We have dealt with issues as diverse as attacks on the validity of patents, infringement and disputes over the entitlement to and ownership of patents in the Patents Court, the Patents County Court and the UKIPO.

We have acted in a large number of such patent disputes in the last 20 years. John Hill is the partner who heads up the patents group and has specialised in patent work for most of his career. Practical and economic advice is always available and the team will be prepared to provide initial advice either free or at reduced rates depending on the nature of the issue presented.
