Arunima is a trainee solicitor at Shoosmiths (Manchester), currently gaining experience in the Commercial litigation team.
She has previously worked with the employment and immigration law specialists in the Midlands, London, and Manchester. Her work included:
- Drafting service agreements, redundancy documents, visa applications, and settlement agreements
- Managing DSARs, Legal 500 submissions, and internal efficiency projects
- Advising clients and contributing to legal research and knowledge articles
During her Corporate seat, Arunima was involved in key transactional work on a national and international scale, including:
- Drafting share buyback documentation, board minutes, resolutions, and share certificates
- Managing Companies House filings and coordinating with clients on governance queries
- Supporting large transactions from start to finish and maintaining responsibility for document accuracy and deadlines
Prior to joining Shoosmiths, Arunima worked at RPC (Bristol) as a full-time claims handler and as a paralegal at Family Law Group (Nottingham). She holds an Upper Second-class BA in Jurisprudence from the University of Oxford and has completed her SQEs with support from the University of Law. She is a collaborator with the University of Nicosia Procedural Law Unit and has published a paper on ‘The Rocket Docket System: A Model for Active Case Management in Countries Facing Judicial Delays’ in the Fall 2021 edition of the New York International Law Review, affiliated with the New York State Bar Association.
