Bethan Moore is a partner in the Corporate Restructuring and Advisory team.
Bethan has a particular focus on non-contentious restructuring, corporate recovery and turnaround mandates.
Bethan's clients include banks, asset based lenders, financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, directors and other key stakeholders in financially distressed businesses. Bethan has a particular focus on advising boards of directors on their duties and contingency planning in distressed periods. She also regularly advises insolvency practitioners on sales and other matters arising out of insolvent businesses.
Bethan has substantial experience in the retail sector; having worked on a number of high profile retail sector insolvencies and restructurings throughout her career.
Her recent experience includes:
.- advising a secured lender in relation to Speciality Steel UK Limited (in liquidation)
- advising the administrators of Cenergist limited, an energy efficiency business based in the UK and overseas
- advising the administrators on the sale of the business of one of the largest recruitment businesses operating in the UK
- advising the administrators of Sambro International Limited on the successful sale of the business to HTI Group.
- supporting the board of directors of a rail sector company on directors duties through a period of distress.
- advising a purchaser on the acquisition of the business and assets of Steel Dynamics Limited (in administration)
