Charlotte is a Legal Director in the Banking and Finance team, based in our Leeds office. She specialises in acquisition and leveraged finance transactions, and has extensive experience advising banks, financial institutions and corporates in relation to general corporate banking and growth finance. Charlotte is recognised as an Associate to Watch in Chambers and Partners and a Leading Associate in Legal 500.
Charlotte's experience includes:
- advising Nimbus on the financing aspects of its investment in, and the management buyout of, National Floorcoverings Group;
- acting for Shawbrook in relation to various super senior facilities provided alongside debt fund term facilities to private equity backed businesses;
- representing Schivo, a Five Arrows (and company founders) backed borrower, in relation to its multi-million euro and dollar unitranche facilities, including cross border security across multiple jurisdictions;
- advising Shawbrook on its funding for Mobeus' investment into Big Potato Games; and
- supporting Investec on its financing to back Beech Tree Private Equity's acquisition of Inspiro Learning.
In 2015, she completed a six month secondment with the financial sponsors team at HSBC, where she worked on a range of sponsor-led leveraged finance transactions.
