Peter is a real estate partner with significant experience in the residential development sector, having previously sat as a Board Director at Harrow Estates plc (a wholly owned subsidiary of Redrow plc, a FTSE250 company), Bridgemere Group plc and Taylor Wimpey (a FTSE100 company).
 
Given his in-house experience, he is adept in advising on the structuring of both immediate and strategic land transactions and regularly advises clients on heads of terms and contractual frameworks. Peter's commercial approach to legal matters also helps to facilitate the smooth progress of transactions as well as maintaining strong cross-party relationships. 
 
As well as acting for many of the PLC housebuilders, Peter's client base includes SME housebuilders, promoters and build to rent developers (in the single family living space). Peter also has strong relationships with the commercial agents and will often act for landowners in the disposal of landholdings in both the immediate and strategic sectors.
 
Peter's recent projects include advising:
- a developer as part of a consortium of PLC residential developers in the strategic development of over 2,000 homes as part of a new urban extension;
- two PLC housebuilders on joint venture arrangements for the acquisition of c.600 homes;
- a PLC housebuilder on the sub-purchase of 250 homes, with complex overage provisions and step-in rights;
- a build to rent (BTR) developer on the conditional acquisition and subsequent sub-sale of over 600 BTR units across three sites, including complex environmental provisions;   
- a PLC housebuilder in connection with the strategic acquisition of over 350 homes, including structuring advice relating to vacant possession and access; and
- a housebuilder on the conditional acquisition and sub-sale of over 500 homes as part of a multi-phased development.
