Sarah is a trainee solicitor based in Shoosmiths' London office. Sarah is currently working in the Competition team in the third seat of her training contract. Sarah supports the team with the breadth of its work, including on matters concerning merger control, anti-competitive practices, CMA investigations and national security clearances.
Previously, Sarah spent her first seat split across the Corporate Restructuring & Advisory and Banking & Finance teams and her second seat in Construction. In both seats, she gained experience in a range of contentious and non-contentious work.
Prior to starting her training contract, Sarah spent more than two years in Shoosmiths' London employment team and developed experience in the range of the team's work for employers and employees.
Sarah read Jurisprudence (Law) at the University of Oxford, St Anne's College and was called to the Bar by the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple. Sarah achieved a high Distinction on the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in 2022.
