Restructuring associate blending technical rigour with commercial pace
Aadil is a Senior Associate in Shoosmiths’ Restructuring & Advisory team, advising on a broad range of transactional and contentious insolvency matters. Aadil has experience across complex restructuring and insolvency mandates, including high-profile administrations such as Wilko and restructuring plan work, including Madagascar Oil Limited, as well as company voluntary arrangements and distressed business and asset sales / acquisitions.
Aadil regularly assists in advising directors facing financial distress on formal insolvency processes and the discharge of directors’ duties in challenging circumstances. Aadil also acts for lenders on the validity and enforceability of their security, and advises on enforcement strategy and recovery options.
Aadil has a strong technical grounding and takes a pragmatic, commercial approach to delivers clear advice tailored to the needs of stakeholders. Aadil also makes effective use of technology to support efficient, proportionate and commercially focused outcomes.
Alongside client work, Aadil supports the supervision and development of junior lawyers and contributes to internal know-how, drawing on experience gained across a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters.
