I advise clients on commercial matters with a focus on artificial intelligence, global privacy and data protection, and marketing laws.

Before joining Shoosmiths, I spent five years in-house at J.K. Rowling’s agency and her digital business, Pottermore (now known as Wizarding World Digital), supporting brand protection and managing Pottermore's global data protection compliance. I also acted as Sole Privacy Counsel for WeWork's EMEA region, leading privacy & data protection compliance in the region.

I regularly advise multinational businesses on complex data privacy and AI regulatory matters, including international data sharing arrangements (such as SCCs and BCRs),  AI governance frameworks, EU AI Act role and system assessments, data incident response, data subject complaints and rights requests (including DSARs), data mapping projects, global direct marketing and cookies compliance, negotiating and drafting data transfer agreements, and other compliance issues in respect of the UK/EU GDPR and the EU AI Act.
