I’m a partner in Shoosmiths’ Corporate team, specialising in venture capital, private equity and M&A. I advise investors, founders and management teams on seed to Series A funding, growth capital and exits. My clients include Octopus Ventures, BGF, Triple Point and Hambro Perks, and I’m known for my responsive, commercially focussed advice.

I joined Shoosmiths on qualification in 2010, having trained at a national firm. I’ve built a reputation as one of the UK’s most active VC lawyers, supporting high-growth businesses across tech, consumer and financial services. I regularly advise on shareholder arrangements, joint ventures and equity investments.

I contribute to Shoosmiths’ Corporate division and mentor emerging talent across the firm. I’m a member of the Law Society and regularly speak on venture capital trends and founder-investor dynamics.
