I’m a partner and lead Shoosmiths’ dispute resolution and litigation team in Scotland.

I advise financial institutions and commercial clients on banking litigation, contractual disputes, professional negligence and insolvency matters. Recent work includes defending a lender in a multi-million pound damages claim and advising on a major remediation project.

I joined Shoosmiths in 2013, having previously led a banking litigation team at an Edinburgh firm. Earlier in my career, I worked at the Scottish Law Commission, contributing to reports on diligence and enforcement. I’m a solicitor advocate with rights of audience in Scotland’s Supreme Courts.

I’m ranked in Chambers UK for banking litigation and I am a leading individual in Legal 500. I regularly speak at industry events across the UK. I contribute to legal publications on insolvency and commercial litigation and am a member of the Law Society of Scotland.
