I’m an Associate in Shoosmiths’ Banking & Finance team, specialising in leveraged finance, venture debt and corporate finance transactions. I advise lenders and borrowers on transactions which often involve an international element.

My recent work highlights include:

• acting for a lender in relation to aggregate £65m hybrid leverage and asset-based lending facilities to support the sponsor-backed acquisition of a group of companies specialising in recruitment services;
• acting for a private education provider in relation to its £850m facilities provided by a club of financial institutions with obligors spanning a number of jurisdictions including (but not limited to) Spain, Portugal, Poland and Greece; and
• acting for a sponsor-backed borrower group in the medical sector in relation to a €127.5m refinancing which involved co-ordinating workstreams across several jurisdictions including the United States, Canada and Ireland.

I trained at Shoosmiths and qualified into the Banking & Finance team in 2024. My academic background includes a Law and Criminology LLB from Cardiff University and a distinction in my LPC LLM from The University of Law.
