I head Shoosmiths’ Glasgow office and lead on complex real estate transactions across Scotland and the UK. My work spans commercial development, residential housebuilding, PRS/BTR, and renewable energy. I act for developers, landowners, funders and investors, managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering layered legal advice across corporate, finance, tax and property matters.

Before joining Shoosmiths, I served as Land and Legal Director at a national housebuilder, gaining hands-on experience in site appraisal, cashflow modelling and funding. I’ve advised on the structuring and delivery of PRS funds and REITs, and have deep expertise in Islamic finance and Sharia’h-compliant real estate transactions. My renewables work includes onshore wind, solar PV, hydro, AD and biomass projects.

I’m a member of the Law Society of Scotland and contribute to Shoosmiths’ Living Sector strategy. Clients value my deal-driven approach and ability to find innovative solutions that get transactions over the line.
