As a Senior Associate at Shoosmiths, I specialise in data protection and privacy, providing pragmatic, business-aligned legal advice to clients in both private practice and in-house settings. I am CIPP/E certified and confident working across jurisdictions, with a strong track record in commercial contracting, data protection, and stakeholder engagement.

At Shoosmiths, I advise on a wide range of privacy and data matters, including GDPR audits for multinational organisations, creating Article 30 records, and advising on TRAs, DPIAs, privacy notices, and marketing compliance. I regularly draft and negotiate data processing and data sharing agreements, assist with international data transfers, and support clients with data breaches and subject access requests. My work also includes developing and delivering bespoke GDPR training, providing ongoing advisory support through our ‘DP Hotline’ and DPO Service, and handling commercial contracts for clients in the retail and technology sectors.
