Charlotte is an Associate within the Solent Employment team. She advises clients on a full range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters across a variety of sectors.

Charlotte’s experience includes:

• drafting responses to Employment Tribunal claims including claims for unfair dismissal, unlawful deductions from wages and discrimination claims, supporting on disclosure, liaising with ACAS, drafting of witness statements and applications and assisting in the preparation and attendance at Tribunal hearings;

• drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, service agreements, policies and procedures;

• assisting with and supporting clients in handling grievances and disciplinaries;

• drafting and negotiating settlement agreements on behalf of both employer and employee clients;

• assisting organisations with managing both individual and collective redundancy exercises;

• supporting on employee data protection matters, including assisting employer clients with managing data subject access requests;

• assisting with the employment law aspects of corporate due diligence exercises; and

• supporting with pulling together materials for various training sessions.
