I advise Shoosmiths’ Partnership, drawing on decades of leadership experience to support the firm’s strategic direction. My focus is on governance, continuity and client service excellence. I’ve served the firm for over 30 years, including nine years as CEO, where I led Shoosmiths’ transformation into a leading UK challenger firm.

Since joining Shoosmiths in 1984, I’ve held roles across dispute resolution and commercial practice, becoming a partner in 1990. As CEO from 2009 to 2018, I oversaw expansion into major UK cities, a successful rebrand, and a 230% increase in profitability. My leadership was recognised in The Lawyer’s Hot 100 and through multiple industry awards.

I sit on Shoosmiths’ board as a non-executive adviser and contribute to committees including the Partnership Council and Executive Compliance Committee. I’m committed to mentoring future leaders and promoting diversity across the profession.
