I’m a Partner in our Tax team and head up the firm’s real estate tax practice. I advise institutional investors, private equity funds, REITs, developers, and occupiers on all aspects of property taxation. My work includes structuring acquisitions, developments, and disposals to maximise efficiency and minimise risk.

I joined Shoosmiths in 2016, having previously worked at Nabarro, Trowers & Hamlins, and PwC. My experience spans all sectors of the UK real estate industry , but with particular expertise in build-to-rent, student accommodation, care homes, and large-scale commercial developments. I also advise on corporate tax matters, employment tax, and charity tax issues, offering clients a holistic view of their tax landscape.

I’m a Chartered Tax Adviser and a member of the Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group, contributing to industry dialogue on tax reform and best practice.
