As Chief Executive of Shoosmiths LLP, I lead the firm’s strategy delivery and operations, bringing together brilliant people across our Corporate, Real Estate and Advisory divisions to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients. I’m passionate about how we evolve as a firm, combining legal expertise with innovation to solve complex problems and help clients thrive. Under my leadership, we’ve sharpened our strategic focus, accelerated growth in our chosen markets, and positioned Shoosmiths at the frontier of how modern law is delivered.

Before becoming CEO, I practised as a tech & outsourcing lawyer, leading our national Commercial Group for over a decade, building a reputation for pragmatic, commercially focussed advice. I joined Shoosmiths in 2006 from an in-house counsel role, served on the Partnership Council and launched Shoosmiths EIGHT, our connected services platform. In 2023, I co-authored Legal Practice in the Digital Age, exploring how the profession can thrive in a digital, ai-enabled world.

I’ve been fortunate to have been recognised through awards including Client Partner of the Year at the British Legal Awards and inclusion in The Lawyer Hot 100.
