A trade mark expert guiding global brands through protection and enforcement
I lead Shoosmiths’ national trade mark practice, advising clients across industries on brand strategy, protection, and enforcement. My work spans UK, EU, and international trade mark portfolios, including filing strategies, oppositions, invalidations, and portfolio management. I help clients navigate complex IP landscapes with clarity and precision, ensuring their brand assets are protected and leveraged effectively.
Before joining Shoosmiths, I worked in-house at the Met Office and Ministry of Defence, managing trade mark portfolios and advising on IP strategy. I bring a practical, commercial approach to trade mark law, shaped by years of experience in both private practice and public sector roles. My background includes extensive work in rebranding, international filings, and enforcement actions.
I am a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys and regularly contribute to thought leadership on global IP strategy. My recent publications include insights on trade mark enforcement in China and commentary on landmark cases involving brand protection.
