I lead Shoosmiths’ licensing team, advising major national retail, leisure and food & drink clients on all aspects of the Licensing Act 2003. My work includes new and renewed premises licences, variations, temporary event notices, transfers, reviews and appeals. I’m known for resolving objections swiftly and effectively, often without the need for formal hearings.

I’ve worked at Shoosmiths for many years, progressing from PA to Team Leader. I was part of the team during the transition to the Licensing Act 2003, overseeing the migration of licences under the new regime. I also support the corporate and insolvency teams, securing licence protection for buyers during receivership or repossession.
