Property litigator with deep expertise in landlord and tenant law
I’m a Partner in Shoosmiths’ Real Estate Litigation team, based in Birmingham. I advise a wide range of clients — including national retailers, logistics companies, developers and landlords — on all aspects of property disputes. My work spans contested business lease renewals, dilapidations, service charge disputes, tenant insolvency, adverse possession claims, restrictive covenants and rights of way. I also have a specialist focus on agricultural law, including tenancy terminations and compensation under the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 and Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995.
I trained at a regional firm before joining an international practice on qualification, where I developed my litigation expertise. I moved to Shoosmiths in 2016, bringing with me a strong track record in resolving complex disputes for clients in the retail, logistics and financial sectors.
I’m a member of the Property Litigation Association and am known for my calm, strategic approach to resolving disputes efficiently and commercially.
