Ella is a third-seat trainee solicitor based in our Thames Valley office, currently working with the Employment team.

Her training contract has given her a broad range of experience, including a first seat in Commercial Litigation and an in-house secondment with IKEA, where she gained valuable insight into how legal advice supports business strategy.

Before starting her training contract, Ella worked as a clinical negligence paralegal, developing strong client care skills and attention to detail.

Passionate about social mobility and widening access to the profession, Ella is actively involved in pro bono work and mentors aspiring solicitors through the Shoosmiths x GROW programme.
