I’m a Senior Associate in Shoosmiths’ Real Estate team in Birmingham, specialising in corporate occupier work.

I specialise in advising tenants on complex real estate matters, from lease negotiations to strategic portfolio disposals. My focus is on delivering practical, commercially driven solutions that help businesses achieve their property goals with clarity and confidence.

Key achievements:

• Secured a flagship showroom lease in London for a new automotive brand entering the UK market.
• Advised a national retailer on property strategy, with a significant portfolio of over 800+ stores, following a Restructuring Plan.
• Led a 25-site corporate support deal alongside a magic circle firm, supporting IPO readiness, sale-and-leaseback structures, and high-volume transactions using Shoosmiths’ technology platforms.

With hands-on experience from an in-house secondment at a major retailer, I bring insight into client priorities and operational challenges. I also contribute to Shoosmiths’ mentoring and training programmes, and as part of the Balance network and Real Estate Training team, I regularly advise on green lease clauses, minimum energy efficiency standards (MEES), and EV infrastructure—helping clients meet sustainability and ESG objectives.
