I’m a partner in Shoosmiths’ intellectual property team, specialising in complex patent litigation across pharmaceuticals, biotech, electronics, and consumer goods. I represent clients in high-stakes disputes before the UK courts, the Unified Patent Court, and international jurisdictions. My recent work includes multi-jurisdictional cases involving heart valve technology, LED systems, and Alzheimer’s treatments.

Before joining Shoosmiths in 2024, I was a partner at a specialist IP firm and trained at Lovells. I’ve led cases before the Supreme Court, Court of Appeal, and European Patent Office, coordinating parallel litigation in the US, Canada, and Asia. My scientific background in chemistry enables me to work closely with R&D teams and experts to deliver clear, commercially focussed advice.

I’m recognised by Legal 500, IAM Patent 1000, and Who’s Who Legal, and listed as a Patent Star by Managing IP. I’m authorised to practise in England & Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, and serve as a UPC Representative. I regularly speak at industry events and contribute to thought leadership on patent strategy and cross-border enforcement.
