I’m a partner in Shoosmiths’ intellectual property team, specialising in complex patent litigation across pharmaceuticals, biotech, medtech, electronics, and consumer goods. I am a solicitor advocate and represent and advise clients in high-stakes disputes before the UK courts, the European Patent Office, the Unified Patent Court and in international jurisdictions such as the US and China. My experience covers multi-jurisdictional cases involving heart valve technology, vaccines, automotive environment simulation and potential Alzheimer’s treatments.

Before joining Shoosmiths in 2024, I was a partner at a specialist IP firm. My scientific background in chemistry enables me to work closely with R&D teams and experts to deliver clear, commercially focussed advice.

I have been recognised by the Legal 500 and IAM Patent 1000 and listed as a Patent Star by Managing IP. I’m authorised to practise in England & Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland, and as a UPC Representative. I regularly speak at industry events and contribute to thought leadership on patent strategy and cross-border enforcement.
