Clean energy lawyer helping clients deliver the energy transition
As a clean energy specialist, I advise a diverse range of clients across the sector, with a focus on the development of new assets and the procurement of clean power. I advise developers, asset owners, funders and offtakers across clean energy generation technologies (wind, solar, hydrogen and BESS) and across all stages of project delivery from MOU to PPA.
I support contract negotiations, offer clients advice on their contracting strategy, and provide advice on the things needed to get projects off the ground, including grid connections and support schemes like the CfD and LCHA, and new ways of buying power (including P2P PPAs).
A big part of my role is in supporting companies as they navigate their own decarbonisation journey through the deployment of heat networks, rooftop solar, carports, or purchasing clean energy through a PPA.
Whether advising a corporate taking their very first steps into energy and decarbonisation or bringing market knowledge and sector expertise to a seasoned international energy developer looking to take their next step into the UK energy market, I offer clear, commercially-focussed advice with the aim of agreeing an enduring, future-proofed deal which can be used as a template for the next one.
