I am Divisional Department Head of CORE UK REAL ESTATE responsible for leading and managing real estate teams in all core offices.  I am one of the original founding Scottish partners in based in  our Edinburgh office and I specialise in  residential and commercial development, advising clients across the UK. These  include national housebuilders, property funds PBSA and strategic land companies and promoters.

Since joining Shoosmiths in 2012, I’ve held senior roles including Head of Shoosmiths Scotland and Head of the Edinburgh office. My recent work includes advising Thriving Investments on a Scottish Government-backed housing investment fund, now being rolled out in the north of England and leading complex acquisitions for Bellway involving multi-party negotiations and bespoke planning provisions.  I have also led the team on  high profile, complex, long running acquisitions in central Glasgow and Edinburgh for Watkin Jones.
