A proactive trainee with hands-on deal experience and global insight
I’m a trainee solicitor at Shoosmiths, currently in my third seat with the Banking & Finance team, where I’m gaining experience in leveraged venture and corporate lending. Before this, I spent three years as a paralegal in the firm's Corporate team, leading legal due diligence and disclosure processes across M&A, PE and VC transactions.
I’ve supported deals for clients including YFM Equity Partners, Downing LLP, Chevron Traffic Management (now Ramudden Global), Reliance Brands, LDC and Upp Technologies Group.
My training has also included in-house experience at the United Nations legal office in Nairobi (Kenya), a Cambridge-based biopharma company and Utility Warehouse (Telecom Plus PLC) in London - giving me a broad and international perspective on legal practice.
I joined Shoosmiths in 2021 and hold an LLB from the University of Reading, alongside an LPC and MSc in Law, Business and Management from the University of Law.
Outside of client work, I lead the Social and Charity Committees in the firm's Thames Valley office and serve as our Corporate Responsibility champion - so if there’s a quiz night, bake sale or charity run happening, chances are I’m involved!
