Strategic litigator trusted on high-stakes disputes
I lead Shoosmiths’ real estate disputes team in the Midlands, advising institutional landlords, investors, developers and corporate occupiers on complex litigation. My work spans everything from strategic risk analysis to proceedings in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. I’m known for my tactical precision and ability to protect clients’ operations from disruption.
Since joining Shoosmiths, I’ve built a reputation for resolving disputes involving lease renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations, contested break options and property insolvency. I’ve acted on landmark cases including a £4.3bn redevelopment project and a precedent-setting appeal on contracting out of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954.. I regularly advise on strategic land assembly and tenant re-engineering. My approach is proactive, reasoned and focussed on securing the right outcome.
