I am a Legal Director in the Corporate Department at Shoosmiths, where I advise clients primarily across the Energy and Infrastructure sector, with a focus on M&A and Joint Ventures.

Prior to joining Shoosmiths I was the General Counsel of Bluefield Group for 5+ years. Bluefield is a renewable energy platform with in-house capability across the asset lifecycle, from development, through investment, to operation, and optimisation of renewable energy assets, aiming to enhance the performance of each asset for the long term until decommission across the UK and Europe. At Bluefield, as well as manging the Legal and Compliance function, I was (i) part of the leadership team, (ii) a director of over 130 companies across multiple jurisdictions, (iii) at various points managed the ESG, IT, Health and Safety, and Risk Management functions, (iv) and for a 9 month period acted as the interim-COO managing the asset management, operations & maintenance, and monitoring and reporting functions.

Before Bluefield I was a corporate lawyer for over a decade, representing a variety of clients ranging from high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs, investment and private equity vehicles such as Greencoat, KKR and Inflexion, through to multi-national companies such as bp.
