As a Senior Associate in Shoosmiths’ Business Crime and Compliance team, I advise companies, directors, and individuals on regulatory compliance, licensing, and health and safety across sectors including education, food, and retail. My recent work includes supporting clients through large-scale inquiries and inquests, and providing specialist licensing advice.

My career spans roles in private practice, in-house compliance, and technical management, giving me a practical understanding of regulatory challenges from multiple perspectives. I have managed compliance for food producers, worked as a school compliance officer, and appeared in a majority of Magistrates’ Courts across England and Wales.

I am a member of the Food Law Group and the Health and Safety Lawyers Association, and have served as a school governor and charity clerk. My approach is always client-focussed, ensuring advice is both robust and commercially relevant.
