As a Principal Associate in Shoosmiths’ Commercial team, I advise clients across multiple sectors on technology, commercial contracts, and data protection matters. My expertise includes leading on negotiations for large-scale technology projects, data protection compliance, and advising clients on business-critical IT software solutions, helping clients manage risk and unlock value.

As both a technology lawyer and a member of the data protection team, I can provide invaluable support on technology-driven solutions involving data elements. I work closely with in-house legal, procurement, and technical teams to make complex issues accessible and to support clients throughout every stage of their projects.

I have experience working in both the private and public sectors. Before joining Shoosmiths, I trained as a solicitor at the City of York Council, where I was a key member of the in-house legal team. I have also undertaken a secondment with a large supermarket chain, giving me practical insight into operational and legal challenges.
