I am a partner in Shoosmiths’ Corporate Restructuring and Advisory team.  I advise on all aspects of formal and informal restructuring and insolvency matters regularly acting for stakeholders, insolvency practitioners, corporates and directors.

Whilst largely sector agnostic, I have developed particular expertise in retail, hospitality & leisure, financial services and manufacturing.

Recent experience includes:

• Advising PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, as administrators of Wilko Limited, Wilkinson Hardware Stores Limited and Wilko.com Limited, the well-known high street retailer, on all aspects arising in respect of the administrations of the companies;

• Advising Quantuma Advisory Limited, as liquidators of La Perla Global Management UK Limited, the globally known women’s fashion retailer;
• Advising Madagascar Oil on its sanction Part 26A Restructuring Plan.
• Advising the sole shareholder and secured creditor of Fitness First in relation to the implementation of the Part 26A Restructuring Plan;
• Advising FRP Advisory LLP, as administrators of EBuyer, one of the UK's largest online e-commerce retailers.
• Advising the secured creditor of Superdry in relation to the the implementation of the Part 26A Restructuring Plan;
• Advising Grant Thornton, as administrators of The Crazy Bear Hotel Group, the internationally renowned bespoke hotel group;
• Advising Teneo Financial Advisory Limited, as administrators of SOVA Capital Limited, an investment bank, in respect of the disposition of certain of its assets;

I am recognised in the Legal 500 rankings and have recently been nominated as Corporate Restructuring Lawyer of the Year at the TRI awards.
