I’m a senior professional support lawyer in Shoosmiths’ real estate team, focussed on developing precedents and delivering legal clarity across complex property matters. I lead on legal updates, training, and technical support, with a particular interest in document automation, SDLT and residential tenancy legislation. I also contribute to the Model Commercial Lease initiative, helping shape industry standards.

Before joining Shoosmiths in 2016, I spent over 16 years in similar roles at major firms, building deep expertise in legal drafting and knowledge management. My career began at Rowe & Maw, where I trained and qualified, and I’ve since developed a reputation for combining technical rigour with practical insight.

I’m a member of the Property Support Lawyers’ Group and the Model Commercial Lease Committee. Outside of law, I’m a cryptic crossword setter for national papers and an ordained Church of England minister.
