I am a well-respected commercial contracts lawyer with a strong background having worked in-house for many years prior to joining private practice where she has held partner positions for the over 20 years.

Providing advice on all aspects of the supply and purchase of assets, goods and services with a particular interest in supply chain and manufacturing, outsourcing, engineering and major projects. My background in industry brings a strong connection to the rail sector which is a particular specialism. I head up the Complex Contracts team within the wider commercial team and also our National Rail team.

I have a real ability to understand my Clients’ requirements in order to document them in a way that is clear, concise and user friendly.

With a particular expertise in cross border arrangements and often for Clients who are highly innovative both in terms of products (goods and or services) and contracting structure, I work closely with Clients in all sectors to achieve solutions which work for them rather than attempting to mould Clients into.

My strong background in the rail industry means that I have significant experience relating to procurement regimes and advising clients on public procurement rules and requirements.

In addition I have experience of advising local authorities in relation to grant funding schemes and, more recently, procurement of renewable energy schemes and tendering for fibre network providers. More recent experience relates to supporting Clients who are entering into regulated tender processes and in some cases, considering whether any processes should be challenged.
