As an Associate in Shoosmiths’ Privacy & Data team, Najiba advises clients on UK and EU privacy compliance across a broad range of sectors, including financial services, pensions, retail and technology. Her experience working closely with global heads of privacy and senior stakeholders enables her to contextualise risk and provide pragmatic, commercially focused guidance.

She has particular strength in complex data contracting and international transfers, alongside advising on nuanced technical issues such as ad-tech and cookie compliance, employee monitoring, marketing practices and DSAR strategy. She also supports clients in developing practical governance frameworks that embed privacy into everyday business operations.

With previous DPO-style secondments within financial services, Najiba brings practical insight into how privacy operates on the ground. Her focus is delivering clear, tailored advice that aligns with each organisation’s operational needs.
