I am an Associate in Shoosmiths’ London Business Crime and Regulatory team. I advise businesses and individuals on complex investigations and prosecutions across a range of regulatory areas, including health and safety, environmental law, inquest proceedings and corporate manslaughter.

I support clients facing investigations and enforcement action by regulators such as the Health and Safety Executive, the Police, Local Authorities and the Environment Agency. I have experience guiding clients through the full lifecycle of an incident, from initial crisis response and on-site support to PACE responses, interviews under caution, and proceedings through to trial and sentencing. I also advise companies and individuals in inquest proceedings, including high-profile cases where Article 2 is engaged.

In addition to contentious work, I provide compliance and risk management advice, including strategic guidance on environmental compliance matters such as permitting and ESG issues.

I act for clients across a broad range of sectors, including construction, retail and the public sector, with particular experience advising Local Authorities, healthcare providers and education clients.
