As a Partner in Shoosmiths’ Banking & Finance team, I specialise in asset-based lending, acting for both borrowers and lenders on domestic and cross-border transactions. My clients include major UK clearing banks, alternative lenders, and corporate borrowers, and I have extensive experience in receivables finance, inventory loans, property loans, and cashflow facilities.

I am known for my practical, commercial approach and for managing teams to deliver effective, cost-efficient solutions. My recent work includes:

• advising IGF Business Credit Limited on a significant asset-based facility to The Body Shop International
• acting for Hilco Capital Limited in relation to the provision of a substantial revolving working capital facility to Lakeland Limited
• acting for Ultimate Finance Limited in relation to an uncommitted syndicated back-to-back receivables and revolving property facility.

I am ranked as a Leading Partner for finance in the West Midlands and nationally for ABL by Legal 500.

I am also co-chair of Shoosmiths’ Balance network, championing gender equality in the legal sector.
