I’m a Principal Associate in Shoosmiths’ Real Estate team in Nottingham, with a broad range of experience across multiple areas of non-contentious property work, acting for occupiers, investors, developers and lenders. I work on transactions across a range of sectors including, retail, logistics and energy, helping clients achieve strategic outcomes. I have experience of advising on all matters of commercial real estate, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, managing multi-let investment properties, acting for tenants on new lettings of shopping centres, retail estates and storage and distribution centres and acting for both lenders and borrowers on the financing of commercial real estate.

Recent highlights include:

- a multi-million pound portfolio swap  for a petroleum client;

- acting for a developer client on the acquisition of land for a new multi-let development of industrial/warehouse/trade units, including acting on the pre-lets;

- retail portfolio work for a national health and beauty brand;

- acting for a lender on the real estate aspects of funding for student accommodation developments; and

I joined Shoosmiths in 2021, having previously worked at other national firms. I’m known for clear, commercial advice and a collaborative approach to complex matters.
