I’m a dual-qualified Senior Associate in Shoosmiths’ Real Estate team, specialising in residential development and strategic land transactions across the UK. I advise housebuilders, landowners, build-to-rent operators and promoters on acquisitions, affordable housing development agreements, complex title issues, sales and site set-ups. Recent highlights include acting for various large UK housebuilders in acquiring different development sites within Winchburgh, advising a large UK plc housebuilder in a number of affordable housing sales to RSLs across Scotland, acting for a build-to-rent operator in the acquisition of a number of developments from a plc housebuilder in England, and advising a number of housebuilders and developers on various upcoming changes in regulations (including notably the new regulations around the decarbonisation of heat in new build properties and district heating).

Since joining Shoosmiths, I’ve built lasting relationships with clients by providing clear, pragmatic advice tailored to their commercial goals. I’m known for going above and beyond to support clients through every stage of a transaction.

I’m a member of both the Law Society of Scotland and the Law Society of England and Wales, as well as contributing to Shoosmiths’ mentoring and training programmes and being a member of the Shoosmiths Proud Committee.
