Operational strategist driving excellence across Shoosmiths
As Chief Operating Officer and a member of Shoosmiths’ Board, I lead the firm’s operational strategy, ensuring our business services functions deliver at pace and scale to support our ambitious growth agenda. All operational areas, excluding finance, report into me. I joined Shoosmiths in March 2023, bringing extensive experience from national, European, and international law firms, where I’ve held COO roles and led strategic change, growth, and transformation programmes.
My work spans systems, people, and culture. I’ve built high-performing business services teams across multiple jurisdictions and played a key role in legal mergers, operational integrations, and structural redesigns. I deliver agile operational models, embed reward and development programmes, and lead diversity and inclusion initiatives that drive meaningful impact. I believe operational excellence is about more than efficiency—it’s about enabling people to do their best work, every day whilst living our values.
I’ve led transformation across borders and spearheaded award-winning initiatives recognised by the Financial Times and The Lawyer. I’m known for embedding dynamic systems and cultivating high-performing teams.
