I’m a principal associate in our Banking and Finance team, based in Manchester. I advise on a wide range of debt finance transactions, including real estate finance, acquisition finance and corporate lending. I work with borrowers, banks and financial institutions to structure and deliver funding solutions that support growth and development.

I joined Shoosmiths in 2014 as a paralegal and qualified into the Banking team in 2017. My experience includes:

• acting for Vita Student on a £146m senior and £27.5m mezzanine acquisition and development financing for a site on First Street, Manchester;
• acting for Renaker on a £128m development funding for residential skyscrapers in Manchester;
• acting for a JV between a London Real Estate fund and a national property developer on an £84m development funding for a portfolio of industrial properties;
• advising a clearing bank on the largest ever real estate financing in Northern Ireland to refinance a mixed use portfolio, including shopping centres, commercial and residential; and
• advising a leading private bank on a £66m investment financing.

I’m recognised in the Legal 500 as a Leading Associate in the North West. I’m also a trainee and paralegal supervisor.
