I lead Shoosmiths’ early careers strategy, including the trainee solicitor programme, and since its launch in 2024, our Solicitor Apprenticeship programme, which offers an alternative route to qualification.
I oversee attraction, assessment, selection and development of our aspiring lawyers across multiple offices. As a strategic leader, I manage a dedicated team, ensuring we stay ahead of industry trends, innovate our approach, and continuously refine our talent strategy.
My work has driven strategic expansion of intake numbers, enhanced social media and digital engagement, and pushed forward initiatives that make the application process clearer and more accessible. I believe in candidate-first, human-centred recruitment: every applicant deserves respect, every trainee deserves opportunity, whether or not they follow the traditional path into law.
