Expert litigator focused on complex contractual, technology and corporate disputes
I am a Legal Director in Shoosmiths’ Dispute Resolution and Compliance team. My work focuses on complex commercial disputes, with particular expertise in technology disputes, corporate & shareholder disputes, contractual disputes, supplier disputes, insolvency litigation, arbitrations and injunctions. Given my expertise, I regularly work with clients within the mobility, technology & AI, retail and energy & infrastructure sectors.
I am regularly recognised in the Legal 500 UK Guide and Chambers & Partners publications. I have been personally ranked as a Next Generation Partner in the Legal 500 UK Guide 2025 and as an "Associate to Watch" in Chambers & Partners 2025.
Recent work includes:
- Successfully defended an international hotel brand in an LCIA arbitration from a £4 million contractual dispute;
- Successfully advised and obtained an interim mandatory injunction for an automotive client requiring a sub-contractor to deliver-up customer vehicles (RAC Motoring Services v First Choice Recovery Group [2022] EWHC 3401 (KB))
- Advised in the high-profile cases of Crypto Open Patent Alliance v Dr Craig Wright [2024] EWHC 1809 (Ch) and Tulip Trading Limited v Bitcoin Association for BSV and others, both which were featured in The Lawyer Top 20 cases of 2024;
- Advised a leading technology company in relation to a £14 million claim breach of contract claim pursuant to a Master Services Agreement along with counterclaims against them;
- Successfully pursued complex claims for an international hotelier seeking declarations relating to shareholder ownership of a UK company along with damages and recovery of the hotel.
I am known for my calm, strategic approach whilst under pressure and combine technical understanding with clear practical advice to help clients manage their risk, navigate the litigation process easily and achieve commercially sound outcomes.
