As a Senior Associate in Shoosmiths’ Privacy and Data team, I bring over a decade of experience advising on global data protection compliance, with a focus on artificial intelligence, technology, health data, and international transfers.

I have spent substantial time providing legal advice in both private practice and in-house environments, including as Senior Privacy Counsel at a FTSE 5 company and Viasat (formerly Inmarsat) where I devised and implemented the global GDPR compliance framework.

I combine  technical knowledge and expertise from private practice with a practical and collaborative approach from my time in-house, advising clients on product development, regulatory compliance, and risk management across multiple jurisdictions. I am passionate about helping organisations harness new technologies while meeting their privacy obligations.

I hold the IAPP CIPPE and  PDP Practitioner’s Certificate in Privacy and am recognised as a rising star in the field.
