Tayef is an Associate in the Banking and Finance team, based in our London office. Tayef specialises in real estate finance, advising corporate borrowers, banks and financial institutions on a range of high-value, multi-jurisdictional transactions across various sectors. Tayef also has experience in acquisition finance and general corporate lending, and regularly acts for loan agents and servicers on their appointments to a variety of finance, structured finance and securitisation transactions.

Tayef joined Shoosmiths in 2019 as a paralegal in the Banking and Finance team, before commencing his training contract and qualifying into the team in September 2023. During his training contract, Tayef undertook a six-month secondment with Allied Irish Bank. Tayef graduated from Queen Mary University of London with a Bachelor of Laws degree, before completing the LPC with Distinction at BPP University.
